The 90° rubber expansion joint, also known as a right-angle rubber expansion joint or vibration-damping expansion joint, is an L-shaped 90° flexible rubber connector. It is formed by high-temperature vulcanization of a rubber bend and metal flanges at both ends. It replaces the steel 90° expansion joint and combines the three functions of pipeline turning, vibration reduction, and displacement compensation.

Internal Structure (Three-layer Composite)

1. Inner Rubber Layer: closely contacts the medium, dense and impermeable;

2. Reinforcement Layer: multi-layer nylon fabric and steel wire pressure ring, pressure-resistant and tensile-resistant;

3. Outer Rubber Layer: aging-resistant, ozone-resistant, protective fabric;

End fittings: carbon steel/stainless steel loose flanges.

Installation Precautions

1. Suspended installation of DN200 and above must be equipped with fixed brackets, optional anti-pull rods to prevent the pressure from pulling the elbow;

2. Bolts should be tightened evenly diagonally, do not forcibly tighten on one side;

3. For high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, use corresponding special rubber materials, do not mix with ordinary rubber elbows.
